“When I bought this business a year ago, I was semi-retired and enjoying being a grandfather. For those who don’t know, I previously had a very successful Indian restaurant in Clifton, Shefford for over 20 years. After finally settling into semi-retirement, I came across a small take-away in Biggleswade which was in need of some love, support and dedication. After putting in hard-work and dedication, Raj Bengal has become a staple of the Biggleswade community and has created a strong customer base within this town.

My 45 years of dedication and passion in cooking Indian cuisine has led me to this wonderful take-away where I hope I continue to create more amazing food. My wish was not only to create a business, but to create a take-away that stood high above the rest and provided local people with delicious food at fair prices.
